WE ARE A MOVEMENT!

We Day. The day where we put aside our differences for a better world. I had the opportunity to be a part of this amazing event today. To see the amazing people who helped with this cause and hear there stories. We Day is much more then a day. It's a month, year, or life time movment. A day where we are all the same, no matter who you are. Everyone was getting involved, everyone wanted to make change. The amazing stories of those who had suffered, or who family suffered, or even if the suffering is still going on today, they wanted to be a part of this. They kept telling us that this was our generation, our time, our place. That we could make change, we could be change. The lights, sounds, and colours all made it very exhilarating.
Then we braked for lunch.
After lunch we heard more speakers then...
Hedley preformed, as did Down With Webster and Shawn Desman. A former vice president spoke as did Hannah Taylor. It was a truly amazing thing to be apart of this.
I will remember it forever.

New Books! Love it when they come out!
So this week's book is Son of Neptune by Rick Riordan! It's a follow up to Book One, The Lost Hero. I am hoping to get my hands on it before the week is over. I read a little of the first chapter on Rick's website, but i didn't want to read to far, because I like it to be a surprise when I get it.
I was thinking to myself, how does he do it? I mean rick is working on 2 book series at the same time! the Kane Chronicles, and the Heroes of Olympus!
It's crazy! for those of you not familiar with Rick's work, he has written some very good books, like, The Percy Jackson series, which is 5 books! Plus more! he is someone I really look up to as a writer, he makes it feel like your write there, fighting battles, invading enemy fortresses, and even in those parts of the book where the characters are alone, you feel like your there, but the can't see you. It's like you can go everywhere and back, and never leave your room.
Books like that really speak to you, and you can never judge a book by it's cover, but it's easier to judge what a book has inside it if you go a little farther and read the blurb.

Thats all for now!

New school year!

Hey followers!
I'm sure everyone is enjoying summer.
But the end is coming, of summer that is.
And I, still being in school, want to make the best of what time I have left.
But there is also the problem of what supplies to buy, and I am happy to tell you that I can help you out!

In terms of binders, it depends on what kind and quality you want, if you're looking for a low price binder I recommend Dollerama, if you want binder that are more expensive, I suggest Staples.
For paper you can get that almost anywhere, but for markers, highlighters, pens, pencil crayons, and all that other stuff, Staples or Dollerama again price and quality are what you need to decide on.

Now that that stuff as been said, I need to tell kids that summer is a stage, and the shows on the final act.
What you need to to do is, when your not shopping for back too school, you need to be doing the things you like most, or maybe the thing that you've been trying to do, but just haven't done it yet, thats what you have to do!
And if you think you've done it all then listen to one of my favourite quotes,

"If you've done all the things that you have planed for yourself, then you haven't planed enough,"

Also, dream big, you never know what you might be able to do in those last few days,
Will post soon,
Ebear :)

Summer Trip

Hey followers!
Have I got news for you!
A lot of it actually.
How about we start at the start, of summer that is!
So, school is over!
My friends and I are like, freaking out, because we won't see much of each other until school starts again.
But I'm off school for like, a day and then when I wake up my parents say, "Okay! Lets hit the road!"
because we are going to drive to my Auntie Karen and Uncle Ed's farm for their wedding, which, by the way, is in Alberta!
So we're in the car, we drive for three hours to get to my Grandma's House and we spend the night, then the next morning we drove to Saskatoon. by the way, did you know that there is like a 20m space in between Manitoba and Saskatchewan? So we got to our hotel, stayed the night and were off.
So when we got to our hotel we unpacked and drove to our Aunt and Uncle's farm. When we got there we started to help set up for the wedding.
The next day was SO great!
The wedding was held in their yard. all the horses even came to the edge of their pens to watch!
The after party was so much fun, the DJ was playing cool music and he had these laser light show machines going on the dance floor.
And guess what? I even caught the bouquet!
So after one more day at the farm, in which I helped with taking care of the horses, we continued our tour of Alberta.
But that's for another post, I hope I have you on the of your seat as you wait for my next entry!
Happy Summer! :)

And to those of you out there who have been checking every day and would have probably be nagging me to do another post, (You know who you are,) sorry it took so long.

The Divisionals!

Hi everyone!
I have exciting news!
Today I'm going to the divisional science fair!
my project is on the Manitoba Hydro building. I'm so nervous, and excited at the same time! This is my first year doing a science project, the last two years I have been doing a heritage fair project.
My brother is going as well. He did his project on what makes popcorn pop.
The science fair is something new for me, I don't know what to expect, I have been practising a lot this week, I think it has come together very well! The only problem is, I don't know anyone who has their project near me! I think that they are all older then me.
my brother gets to be by one of his friends, he is so lucky!
There are seven other people from Bruce at the fair, but I don't know were they are!
I think I'll see if I can find them today, and maybe tell them where I am in the gym.
The gym isn't that big, so it probably won't be that hard to find them.
Well, wish me luck!

Grade 1 Piano Exam!

Hi everybody!
I'm back and i have big, BIG news!
I just, yesterday, took my grade 1 piano exam!
So there I was, sitting in the waiting room, the only thing to calm my nerves, a book.
When it was my turn, I started to panic, I walked in, one foot then the other I told myself.
Because if I didn't, I would have forgotten how to walk I was so scared!
I sat down at the piano, the keys seemed so far away,
But the examiner broke my thoughts, "G major scale, right hand,"
Up I went on the scale, then down again, I did it!
The rest of the scales were a blur to me.
After that I played, Minuet in G Major, that went well, Celebration, I was setting the keys on fire! (Not to toot my own horn!)
The I played my favourite piece, Dream Journey, That went soooooooo well! (It didn't hurt that I had it memorized either!)
Then to top it off, I played "She's Like the Swallow" (And thats the bird, not the thing you do after you chew!)
The I did an ear test and a melody test, and, I was done!
I felt great!
I had just done my grade 1 piano exam!!!!!!
Thanks for reading!
