A Special School

Hi again! Here is a special poem to me.
A Special School
This is a special school,
Who's name I can not tell,
But I can tell you about this school,
So listen very well.
This school is all about making dreams come true!
It can pull ideas out of the blue!
The students love it there,
And all the teachers care!
If you go to this school,
Remember this one rule,
Learning there, is cool!

This school that I mentioned in the poem is a very special school to me and I value this poem very much!

Why a dragon would make a great pet

Hi everyone.
This weeks post is about why a dragon would make a great pet.
A dragon would make a great pet for a number of reasons, and here is 5 of them.

#1) Some dragons are really big, so air planes would not be a problem.

#2)A dragons flames would make camping out a lot easier. ( Lots of marshmellow-y goodness!)

#3)Want to have a barbeque and it won't start? Again, not a problem for dragon flames!

#4)If it rains and you want to read, just go and sit outside under your water-prof canopy!

#5)Some dragons are really kind, so they would make great companions!

The Best Books

Hi everyone!
Sorry it took me so long to get this entry in!
The best books that I have ever read are from the Something Wickedly Weird series!
It is about this boy named Stanley Buggles who inherits this HUGE mansion from his great uncle.
But it also comes with pirates, a werewolf, and one, BIG, mystery!
But he does have friends there. He has Daisy, Berkely Darkling and his sisters and the lighthouse keeper.
But, Something Wickedly Weird aren't the only books that I like out there, there's also:

The Tail of Emily Windsnap
By Liz Kessler

Philipa Fisher's Fairy God Sister
By Liz Kessler

The Witches
By Roald Dahl

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
By Roald Dahl

And the following Book,
Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator
By Roald Dahl

Thanks For reading!
P.S. Come by my blog next week when I talk about how a dragon would make a great pet!

Middle school

Hello again!
Today my blog is about middle school.
I myself am going off to middle school and I know it can be a stressful time.
I offer my advice to any other grade 5 students that are in the same position.

Tip#1.) Try not too think about it. If you don't think about it, it might not seem so bad!
Tip#2.) Do something else to take your mind off it. Reading and writing is what helps me calm down!
Tip#3.) Tell yourself:"Hey, maybe it's not so bad, this is a whole new adventure!"
So that is all I have to say to everyone out there,
Bye for now!
(P.S. If you' re not nervous, good for you! You don't need any of this advice!)

The Fire Within

Hi, my name is Ebear, my teacher said I should get a blog and so here I am writing my very first blog entry. I want my blog to be something people will enjoy looking at and reading the stuff that I post.
So here I go. Please read and enjoy my blog!
-Ebear

This book is about a college student named David Rain who moves in with this lady named Liz Pennykettle and her daughter Lucy. One day Liz makes David a clay dragon. The dragon has a pencil behind its ear and a notebook in its paw. David names the dragon Gadzooks. But the problem is David does not believe in the fire within. So now, David must grasp the fire within, not only with his hands, but also with his heart.

I give this book a ten out of ten. It has words that captivate you, chapters that grab you when you don't expect it, and most importantly characters that bond with you, characters who can reach out and motivate you, surprise you and even connect with you. I recommend this book to people who don't want too believe that everything has an logical explanation. (And people who don't mind a not so light read!)

Bye for now!
