My Teachers Topic

Hi everyone!
This time I am going to write about something that my teacher wanted me to write about.
He wanted me to to write something called: "The World," By Ebear.
So here we go!
My evaluation of the world is always shifting.
Sometimes I think we have a good world, and sometimes not so much.
I like a lot of things about this earth, the fact that I can go and ride a bike in the spring and summer.
I also like that I can have a snowball fight in the winter and play in the leaves in the fall.
The world is very special, 1: Because it gives use our natural resources. and 2: It keeps us from falling into the empty void of space. Ha Ha :)
There are lots of problems like the fact that the earth is getting polluted and the trees are getting cut down.
I feel that we as the people of this earth, can do better than what we're doing now!
It is time to start really caring for our earth!

Sorry, I'm getting off topic again.

I like the world because, well, Its solid and, again, It keeps us from falling into the empty void of space.
So here you go, thats my evaluation of the world!
Check back real soon!

New year!

It's a new year everybody! Well, almost anyway.
In the year 2011 I want to recycle more and help keep our planet clean!
I also want to spend more time with my friends that went to a different school than me.
We have lots of time in life to get things done.
No. scratch that, we actually don't, it's not like we have a short while to live, but as they say, life is short.
Sorry. I'm getting off topic.
What I'm trying to say is that, what you want to do in the new year isn't going to just happen, you have to make it happen.
If you want to read more, you have to go and pick up a book, a book isn't just going to read itself for you!
So if there is something you want done this year, DO IT!
I'm going to call up my friends and tell her that I want to get together some time.
And I'm going to eat a "no litter lunch," I'm going to do those things this year.
I want you to post what you want to get done this year and tell me how it's going to happen!

Holiday Time!

Oh. My. Gosh.
I am sooooooooo sorry for how long it took me to write this!
Anyway, I am so excited for the holidays, which are tomorrow!
I'm doing a play at my church tonight and I get to open one, just one present.
Wait till you here what we did at school on the last day!
NOTHING!
The highlight was the dance it was so cool! There were lots of lights and sounds coming form all directions and the music was really, really, REALLY loud.
My friend even got a shout out because it was her birthday
On Christmas day the day will go something like this:
We get up, we open presents, we chase the dog around because she has wrapping paper in her mouth and won't give it up, the we hang out and chill for the rest of the morning, the we go for Christmas dinner for the rest of the night.
And hey people!
I want to here how YOUR holidays went!
Post on my blog and tell me!
Merry Christmas!

Todays adventure!

Hi everyone,
Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to my blog.
But have I got a story for you today!
So yesterday, I was putting flyers in mailboxes and I go up the drive way of this one house and I miss the step and fall!
I feel this pain in my ankle.
So I go back to the car and my mom and I put a tenser bandage and some ice on it when we got home and thats how it stayed until I went to bed.
I removed the tenser and I went to sleep with it raised up on a pillow.
The next morning it still hurt so we went to the pan am clinic.
We got it x-rayed and turns out, I had fractured my growth plate, it's a small bone on the side of your ankle.
So now I have a cast and I'm on crutches.
But I'm going back to the clinic in 10 days to see if I need it for longer.
It doesn't hurt a lot and I'm getting pretty good with the crutches so it's not all bad!

Victoria Beach

Hi everybody!
Sorry it was so long since my last post!
I was at the lake, we have been going to this place for four years!

It's called Victoria Beach.
It is a great place, they have a bakery with two of the most awesome cookies on earth!

One of the cookies is called a dream cookie.
Okay, so picture two cookies with sweet jam in the middle, covered in vanilla icing.

That is a dream cookie!

The other is a smile cookie,
Picture a warm brown cookie with ruffled edges and chocolate icing on it in the shape of a mouth and two eyes.

That is a smile cookie!

Then there is the beach,
It's called Club House Beach and it has the finest sand on top, and sand castle-perfect sand underneath!
On a really windy day the waves get big, I mean BIG!
But on a calm day the waves are just perfect.

They also have a store where you can buy things like jugs of water, and rent a movie!
The library is really cool too! It may be small but it is jam-packed with cool books!

But now you might be thinking to yourself,
"But I don't own a cabin there!"
Don't worry! Some of the people are willing to rent out their cabins.

Victoria Beach is a great place, and if you decide to rent out there, I know you'll have a great time!

A Special School

Hi again! Here is a special poem to me.
A Special School
This is a special school,
Who's name I can not tell,
But I can tell you about this school,
So listen very well.
This school is all about making dreams come true!
It can pull ideas out of the blue!
The students love it there,
And all the teachers care!
If you go to this school,
Remember this one rule,
Learning there, is cool!

This school that I mentioned in the poem is a very special school to me and I value this poem very much!

Why a dragon would make a great pet

Hi everyone.
This weeks post is about why a dragon would make a great pet.
A dragon would make a great pet for a number of reasons, and here is 5 of them.

#1) Some dragons are really big, so air planes would not be a problem.

#2)A dragons flames would make camping out a lot easier. ( Lots of marshmellow-y goodness!)

#3)Want to have a barbeque and it won't start? Again, not a problem for dragon flames!

#4)If it rains and you want to read, just go and sit outside under your water-prof canopy!

#5)Some dragons are really kind, so they would make great companions!

The Best Books

Hi everyone!
Sorry it took me so long to get this entry in!
The best books that I have ever read are from the Something Wickedly Weird series!
It is about this boy named Stanley Buggles who inherits this HUGE mansion from his great uncle.
But it also comes with pirates, a werewolf, and one, BIG, mystery!
But he does have friends there. He has Daisy, Berkely Darkling and his sisters and the lighthouse keeper.
But, Something Wickedly Weird aren't the only books that I like out there, there's also:

The Tail of Emily Windsnap
By Liz Kessler

Philipa Fisher's Fairy God Sister
By Liz Kessler

The Witches
By Roald Dahl

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
By Roald Dahl

And the following Book,
Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator
By Roald Dahl

Thanks For reading!
P.S. Come by my blog next week when I talk about how a dragon would make a great pet!

Middle school

Hello again!
Today my blog is about middle school.
I myself am going off to middle school and I know it can be a stressful time.
I offer my advice to any other grade 5 students that are in the same position.

Tip#1.) Try not too think about it. If you don't think about it, it might not seem so bad!
Tip#2.) Do something else to take your mind off it. Reading and writing is what helps me calm down!
Tip#3.) Tell yourself:"Hey, maybe it's not so bad, this is a whole new adventure!"
So that is all I have to say to everyone out there,
Bye for now!
(P.S. If you' re not nervous, good for you! You don't need any of this advice!)

The Fire Within

Hi, my name is Ebear, my teacher said I should get a blog and so here I am writing my very first blog entry. I want my blog to be something people will enjoy looking at and reading the stuff that I post.
So here I go. Please read and enjoy my blog!
-Ebear

This book is about a college student named David Rain who moves in with this lady named Liz Pennykettle and her daughter Lucy. One day Liz makes David a clay dragon. The dragon has a pencil behind its ear and a notebook in its paw. David names the dragon Gadzooks. But the problem is David does not believe in the fire within. So now, David must grasp the fire within, not only with his hands, but also with his heart.

I give this book a ten out of ten. It has words that captivate you, chapters that grab you when you don't expect it, and most importantly characters that bond with you, characters who can reach out and motivate you, surprise you and even connect with you. I recommend this book to people who don't want too believe that everything has an logical explanation. (And people who don't mind a not so light read!)

Bye for now!
